Bass Fishing Prospects Looking Up …
Unlike the N2IT fishing tournament a few weeks ago, the weather, water and bass fishing all seemed to heat-up substantially … As Jason Cyboron put it on the IDOfishing Forum, “it appears the big bass were feeding this weekend” …
All of the larger bass weighed for the “Big Bass Pot” exceeded 4 lbs and the winning largemouth weighed in at a very nice 8.29 lbs …

Top three teams were:
- T. Cooper & M. Otte in 1st with 5 bass weighing 23.07 lbs.
- C. McCoy & E. McCoy in 2nd with 5 bass weighing 20.78 lbs. &
- B. Caldwell & T. Raney in 3rd with 5 bass weighing 18.26 lbs including the lunker of 8.29 lbs.
Definitely a great day of Mozingo Lake bass fishing!
NBAA is scheduling a follow-up bass tournament event this fall and plans to run a full division on Mozingo lake in 2011.
